Hosted by the Ophthalmic Imaging Association (UK) in collaboration with the Ophthalmic Photographers’ Society (US) and the Australian Institute of Medical & Biological Illustration (Australia), ICOP continues its proud four-year tradition following successful meetings in Rotterdam, Singapore, and Toronto.
The conference will feature keynote and guest speakers, “New Voices” short talks, a trade show, photo competition, and formal dinner. Whether you are new to ICOP or a returning attendee, you can expect an engaging program and a warm welcome.

The Academy for Healthcare Science (AHCS) administers the voluntary Accredited Register for professionals working in Ophthalmic and Vision Science (OVS). Joining the register is a valuable way to demonstrate your professionalism, competence, and commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
Being included on the AHCS Accredited Register provides a number of benefits:

How to Apply
The current route to joining the register is through the Certificate of Competence.
The application process is straightforward and is similar to submitting an up-to-date CV. Applicants are asked to provide:
A personal statement.
Evidence of relevant qualifications.
Details of education, training, and continuing professional development (CPD).
Professional references.
Your CPD portfolio should demonstrate a broad range of learning activities and forms a significant part of the assessment, alongside your personal statement and supporting evidence.
Applications are assessed independently by both a lay assessor and experienced peers from the Ophthalmic and Vision Science profession. Professional assessors are nominated by the Ophthalmic Imaging Association (OIA) and work in partnership with the AHCS to ensure applications are reviewed fairly, consistently, and against recognised professional standards.
